Mr. Davis has over 25 years of progressive experience in marketing and finance including working with private and non-profit organizations as well as fortune 500 corporations. Mr. Davis began his business career in marketing with Bristol-Myers in the early 80’s. He later worked with Mobil Oil Corporation in US Resale Marketing.
Mr. Davis worked as a partner in theLos Angelesbased financial firm Anderson, Philips, Davis and Hoffmann and has served as Executive Vice-President (EVP) of business development and Chief Diversity Officer for Financial Dimensions, Inc. and EVP of business development for AllDocs, Inc. inPittsburgh,PA.
Mr. Davis has developed and successfully implemented sales campaigns for clients specializing in Business to Business and Business to Consumer markets in Lending, Electronic Commerce, Mortgage Banking, Merchant Processing Solutions, Pharmaceuticals, Oil and Gas/ Energy Telecommunications, and Business Banking Services.
Mr. Davis started his consulting career with Accenture (formerly Andersen Consulting) in the Washington, DCoffice. Mr. Davis is currently serving on the board of directors of the Resilience Advocacy Project based inNew York City, and working as a Partner with Haquad Group.
Mr. Davis is a well regarded consultant and trainer having worked with numerous organizations on sales and marketing engagements in various industries. Mr. Davis is widely recognized as a speaker, facilitator, and business leader having been selected by the American Teleservices Association as 1991 “TEL-PRO” recipient as the Nation’s leading Telephone Sales Training Professional, and more recently by the Mortgage Bankers Association as the first National Diversity Champion in 2005.
Since then he has developed and conducted numerous sales consulting engagements, inter-cultural workshops and leadership training forums for clients in numerous industry segments including several Universities.
He has published articles including: “Effective Sales Campaigns for business growth,” “Asset management for cash flow and profits,” and "Embracing Workplace Diversity and Eliminating Employment Discrimination." Mr. Davis has appeared on various Television and radio programs. He was a recent guest on MIT university radio WMBR on October 17, 2010 discussing business leadership and the execution of marketing and growth strategies.
Mr. Davis is currently writing a book on financial literacy and planning a workshop in early 2012 in conjunction with John Maxwell in the DC area hosted at the National Harbor. His interdisciplinary perspective has been developed and reinforced by long experience, academic preparation, and extensive inter-cultural travel on business and humanitarian projects throughout the world.
Mr. Davis is a results oriented sales professional that maintains a laser focus on realizing the vision that his clients have established for their organization by monetizing those activities and by driving the sales numbers to exceed their expectations. Mr. Davis is a graduate of the Florida A&M University School of business and Industry having earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing, as well as an (MBA) Masters of Business Administration fromHowardUniversity.
He is certified in Human Resources Management by the University ofVirginia. Mr. Davis has also earned a second Master’s degree at Harvard University in May 2011 the (ALM) degree with a concentration in Organizational Managemen
